Serence began at home, with our own baby.
Our little one was born with medical complexities. Like every parent in that position, we quickly learned to read every label, question every ingredient and look hard for food we could trust. Feeding became one of the most important parts of our day, and one of the hardest.
Here in the Maldives, it was harder than it needed to be. Good-quality, ready-made baby food was difficult to find. When we did find it, it was often expensive, out of stock, or not quite right for what our child needed. We spent a lot of time searching, ordering from abroad and hoping for the best.
We knew we weren't the only ones. Every parent wants the best for their child, and every child is different. Some need special diets, some need particular textures, and some just need their parents to have one less thing to worry about.
